arrogance diminishes wisdom Arrogance Diminishes  I always find the foreword in any Star Wars movies and shows very meaningful; in fact i was just watching episode 15 of the clone wars last nite and wow wow, I think it's the best line since, short and sweet, it goes "arrogance diminishes wisdom". I know i know it sounds all confuciusy rigght! maybe it's a quote from the Man himself.. who knows.. OK back to my story, that line hit me real hard or at least hard enough to make me feel like blogging. haha. the thing is, it seems to make complete sense to me becos, i happen to fall in that catergory. Of cos thats for u to judge. but i know i am arrogant in many ways.. It even says so under my horoscope! that Taurus are aggressive, stubborn, fight for what they want and can be annoying at times. haha.. dun worry i didnt remember that off my head.. not a horoscope nerd(not saying it's any wrong though) I jus read them off the papers ocasionally becos i find them quite entertaining. In any case i copied and paste the above off an email. just tag me if u want it ;) i'm not going to use that as an excuse though, i'm going to change!! yes like mr obama. i call for change!! or at least i'll try.. haha - to become a arrogant free gordon. anyway had great fun in wei wen's place on friday. Meet some awesommee new friends, and caught up with old ones alike haha. sadly, no pics :/ oh and yes yes, that chinese word above is part of my chinese name, qi ZHI. which literally translates to rise in wisdom or along that line... ^-^ |
