people watching. photos after the jump. This is hilarious. thrifty Dad and indecisive Mom bought a new sofa in under 20 mins. I like that. In fact, I think I might have played a part in it. mmmmm. haha! basically i just glued myself to the sofa for the greater part of the time spent in the furniture store. They’ll either have to get it or leave me there. wahaha. nah.. I guess it was at a reasonable price; at least mom says so, dad was kinda reluctant at first but after a few other shoppers came back and stared at it with beaming eyes that read “I love that sofa!!”, he gave in. HAHA it was really funny because it was the last piece. I just sat there the whole time watching couples coming by, sat, wow-ed, speak softly amongst themselves, walk away, come back again, sat, whisper.whisper. That made my mom really anxious. Haha. And my dad was quite cute too, he just wandered about seating on practically everything he saw and he had that grumpy face so it made it even more hilarious because it looked like no sofas will ever satisfy him. For me? Well I just sat on that same chocolate brown sofa. Couldn’t even twitch. Too lazy to move. Too comfortable too. Haha. So, it turned out to be some kind of competition to see which couple decides to get it first. Oh well, looks like mi family won aye? Cheers to that. haha! See mom? dad, I knew u could do it. It’s really not that difficult to give in to impulsive, spontaneous buying. aha. Anyway, i FINALLY got the chance to go timbre! Haha been hearing about it for some time now and I’ve read about it in the papers too. It was pretty awesome, the roasted duck pizza I had was quite unique but I got sick off it after sometime haha. To me though, the ambience was more important, and that was well covered. Really love to chill at places like this. Actually we arrived really early because we’ve heard of scary long queues and we missed the reservation period; which has to be done a week before. So we basically waited a really long time for the performance to start. But it was worth the wait, Fatt was really talented on the guitar and Pam was as good an entertainer as she was a singer. She made one poor fellow sing the chorus of poker face for her, I think the guy was not pure Singaporean, maybe Filipino, we just heard po..po..po..ka café. po..po..po..ka café instead of poker FACE. Haha. Some birthday people got dragged on stage etc, it wasn’t much but yea. some laughs here and there. It was a terrific night. Great experience; feels wholly different from the last one I went in ben and jerry's. Ahh I really want a life like that. Going up to places like dempsey hill, chilling in style. WAHAHA. omg shit haha starting to get all materialistic. bad. bad. haha but I’ll aim for that though. Really want a comfortable, relaxed lifestyle when I'm older. I don’t need to be uber rich. Just rich will do. LOL. Currently listening to: The Best of Rolling Stones. this one's taken in the store delivered on the same day! NICE =D |
